A yarn bomb? Is that knit something and leave it where muggles roam. Ha ha. Wish I could go on a treasure hunt too. Though I can tell where it is. Still... :)
June 11th is international yarn-bombing day ( http://yarnbombing.com/ ). Maybe you should work towards something really big for that. The Village must have changed. I can't picture exactly where it is from the placement of shops and stuff.
It's near Jamaica Blue up the north end. It's behind the couch where I usually sit and knit on Fridays ;)
Jamaica Blue is new this year... In the triangle created by Millers/Colorado/Just Cuts/One of the Jewellers...
Ha! I work at The Village and I didn't see this although I've seen you there a couple of times... will have to keep my eyes more open.
