Look at ewes...

After all the work I'm going to do, hand-washing, hand-carding, hand-dyeing, hand-spinning and hand-knitting fleece into cute knitted things, it's almost wrong that it could look so good in it's original unhandled form!

Look at these little cuties. We picked up these girls on Sunday. They're both two, and ready to be sheared (along with Barley and Daisy), so soon I'll have 4 fleeces to play with, along with a little bit of... um... fiber I might have bought from EGMTK when ordering some bands for my spinning wheel. I may never have time to knit again!
Does anyone have a brilliant name suggestion up their sleeve? Or two? ;)

So, um.... just when do you expect to be able to do all this hand-shearing, carding, spinning and dyeing with 3 KIDS UNDER 3?

Um,what about Splotch. That one with the white on her nose. Looks like a bird pooped on her. He he. Curly? Boof? Coz they look fat with their wool on. Rainbow? (In silliness of the switch from Baa Baa Black Sheep which apparently is not suppose to be sung in childcare centres anymore. Baa Baa Rainbow sheep...pfft. They've gone too far.) Mingus? Ewenice? He he. What about coffee and chocolate? I'm interested in seeing some natural spun wool from the black sheep.

Like I said to the midwife, this bub will be born in the middle of Summer. So each day I'll cover Byron and Jasmine with hats and sunscreen and kick 'em outside for the day. Then I can spin whenever Three's asleep ;)

I was thinking of Eunice, just because of their inate ewe-ness. Can't settle on anything, though... hmm.

What about Ebony & Ivory? Ebony being the one with the mostly black face, and Ivory the other?
Eh, maybe not. I'm hopeless at this stuff. All I know is I want to cuddle and then shear one of them right now!
Or maybe Eunice & Eugene? Nah. I'll get my coat.
